Helical Tieback Anchors – NH Art Institue

	Problem: An earth support system was required for a twenty-five foot excavation along a property line. Site access was limited and heavy equipment could not access the work area.
	Solution: Engineered Foundation Technologies LLC successfully designed the helical anchors for the soldier pile and lagging system. Forty kip anchors were achieved using a twenty foot long tieback embedded into medium dense sands. Each anchor was proof tested and several were performance tested as well. Each helical tieback successfully held the required loads without excessive movement. .
